SCIENTIFIC BOARD

HISTORY AND MISSIONS

The C.R.Bt’s Scientific board was established on May 17, 2011.
The Scientific Council shall decide on the organization and conduct of scientific and technological activities of the CRBt. As such, it shall decide on:

  •  Programs and research projects for submission to the Board.
  •  The organization of research works.
  •  The creation and deletion of the research teams, research divisions (health, agriculture, food, environment and industry), associated research laboratories and research units with sectoral or intersectoral vocation, experimental stations and workshops and common services.
  •  Research staff training programs.
  •  Recruitment of research staff
  •  The programming of scientific events organized by the institution.
It conducts periodic evaluation of research works. It develops and adopts its internal regulations. The Scientific Council may appeal within the framework of its activities, to any personality or competence in order to enlighten it in its works. It can also establish specialized scientific committees, whose members are appointed with a decision made by the director of the institution.

THE FUNCTIONING

The functioning of the Scientific Board is governed by Articles 23-28 of Executive Decree No. 11-396 establishing the guidelines of scientific and technological public institutions.
