Biotechnology And Health Division invests in R&D of innovative biotechnologies for diagnosis, therapy, monitoring and prevention of human and animal diseases purposes. The division's current research focuses on non-communicable diseases, mainly diabetes and cancer and communicable diseases particularly emerging and re-emerging infectious diseases.
