Participation in the African Research and Innovation Hub at the Intra-African Trade Fair (IATF) 2025: Call for Applications
The Intra-African Trade Fair (IATF), organized by Afreximbank in collaboration with the African Union (AU) and the Secretariat of the AfCFTA, aims to promote the integration of African economies by encouraging intra-African trade and investment. As part of this mission, the IATF seeks to involve academies, national researchers, and university students in enhancing their understanding of intra-African trade, increasing research outcomes, and strengthening collaboration between academies, industry, and policymakers. Call for AU-EU collaborative research and Innovation projects on sustainable Energy
Launch of a call for projects under the EU-AU Long-Term Research and Innovation Partnership (R&I) on Sustainable Energy (LEAP-SE), co-funded by the European Commission (EC) under Horizon Europe. This program aims to establish a long-term partnership between Europe and Africa in the field of R&I on sustainable energy. The total indicative budget for this call is approximately €10 million, co-funded by European and African national and regional research funding agencies (members of the LEAP-SE consortium), with a contribution of €3.5 million from the EC. National Innovation Strategy, Algeria Horizons 2027
The Director of the Biotechnology Research Center , Professor Ammar Azioune, participated in the national forum entitled “National Strategy for Innovation: Algeria Horizons 2027”, organized by the National Council for Scientific Research and Technology on Saturday, December 21, 2024 at Abdellatif Rahal International Conference Center, under the high patronage of Mr. President of the republic. Signing of a Partnership and Cooperation Agreement between C.R.Bt and INSP
On October 24, 2024, a partnership and cooperation agreement was signed between the Biotechnology Research Center (C.R.Bt) and the National Institute of Public Health (INSP) at the INSP headquarters in Algiers.
