The sequencing – genotyping (NGS) and molecular analysis platform aims to make available to the regional scientific community, national and international as well as the socio-economic sector the tools necessary to carry out small, medium and high throughput sequencing and/or genotyping projects in the fields of health, agriculture and the environment. It offers a comprehensive range of transcriptome and genome analysis services.

NGS technologies have significantly accelerated biological and biomedical research by enabling comprehensive analysis of genomes and transcriptomes. Managing the enormous amount of data coming from new sequencing platforms requires significant skills, computing power and high storage capacity (HPC). For this reason, our platform has an HPC (High Performance Computer) whose characteristics allow it to process data at high speed (Base calling, Alignment, Remove duplicates, Variant detection).).
