The Biotechnology Research Center commemorated the National Day of Memory, marking the 80th anniversary of the May 8, 1945 massacres, on Thursday, May 8, 2025.

The event began with the national anthem, followed by a minute of silence in tribute to the pure souls of the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the nation.

During his speech, Professor Ammar Azioune, Director of the C.R.Bt, emphasized the importance of drawing inspiration from the martyrs’ sacrifice by fostering national unity and working with determination to build a better future.

In the same context, the C.R.Bt was honored to host historian Dr. Sadek Mezhoud, who delivered an instructive lecture titled: “The Events and Massacres of May 8, 1945,” shedding light on this pivotal historical chapter.
