Celebration of the 70th Anniversary of the Outbreak of the Algerian Revolution (1954/2024)

On the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the outbreak of the National Liberation War – November 1, 1954, the Biotechnology Research Center organized an event today, October 28, 2024, to commemorate this historic date under the theme “The Resilience of a Nation: History and Future.”
The program included an exhibition highlighting key moments at the start of the National Liberation War, as well as a roundtable discussion led by veteran Mr. Hamrouchi Mohamed Sghir, and a lecture by  Mrs. Najat Boulassel, historian and professor at Abdelhamid Mehri University, Constantine 2. In addition to the historical aspect, the discussion shed light on the profound impacts of the war on Algeria’s social, economic, and cultural development.
This event resulted in a rich exchange of ideas on the historical legacy of the National Liberation War and its deep influence on the journey of the Algerian nation.
