Inauguration of the scientific and technological pole Chahid “Abdelhafid Ihdaden” of the new city Sidi Abdellah in Algiers

On Sunday May 19, 2024, the President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, inaugurated in Sidi Abdullah “Abdelhafid Ahdadden” Scientific and Technological pole, to celebrate the 68th anniversary of Students’ Day. During this day, the President of the Republic visited the five exhibition stands set up by students and young people, including the stand dedicated to innovative projects. During this visit, student Manar AISSOUG presented to Mr. President and his delegation her innovation relating to bio-chips, which allow the intelligent co-culture of two or more cell types, thus opening new perspectives in the field of biomedical research. These bio-chips were developed at the Biotechnology Research Center (C.R.Bt) by a team of students under the supervision of Professor Ammar AZIOUNE.

Student Manar AISSOUG was also honored as co-founder of the Startup MIMIC-AL, which received the Startup label from the President of the Republic.
