The  ICGEB in collaboration with the United Nations Office for South-South Cooperation (UNOSSC),  launches a new funding opportunity  the “EMPOWER Fellowship Programme.”
 Indeed, this programme offers early-career women scientists from the Global South, aged 45 or under, exchange visits of 6 months at the ICGEB laboratories in New Delhi (India) and Cape Town (South Africa) or at other institutes based in eligible ICGEB Member States to perform research work on biotechnology and related fields including Health (Infectious and Non-Communicable Diseases), Sustainable and Effective Agriculture, Industrial Biotechnology and Renewable Energy.
These fellowships include: (i) stipend, health insurance and travel; (ii) applying the latest techniques and technologies: (iii) opportunities for mentoring, peer-peer learning.
